I've never liked these large conference vs. conference tournaments. They favor the home teams too much. We would still be losing a close game right now, but nothing like what is playing out. There's too much interest in the overall results relative to strength of conference to call them straight up. To be fair, we benefitted from playing Baylor at home last year too, and case in point today is what Missouri is doing to Iowa St at Columbia right now. If they want to do a day-long slate of four games at one neutral site with impartial refs, that might be fun, but this is just no good.

Tells you a lot when they say OU coaching staff was very confident watching film coming into this game. Seems like our staff watched no film. Makes you really question the coaching and our chances in the postseason. You have to be able to scout and plan well.

This OU team lost by 27 to TCU their last game. Smh. Coaches did not have this team in the right mindset. Thought we could just show up. Next week will be very important for the rest of the season.

Plus you are in rhythm of playing your conference schedule. Match ups matter a ton and I get that you are going to have to adjust when the ncaas start.

But at least then, if you’ve gotten a high seed you have a pretty good chance of getting your feet wet and adjusted in that first round game.

This break in the middle of the schedule has never really been that good to us, except last season, when we were the home underdogs as you point out.

We’ve just got to flush this out of our system quickly and let no trends start from this game.

Ehh it happens unfortunately with college basketball. They've been playing a tough road thus far, so bound to lose a few along the way.

After the close win last game I noticed the kids weren't satisfied, I think that shows how badly they want to win. Just a bump in the road today, I trust CNO will fix it. Let's hope for a deep run in march. RTR 🏀🐘
