we could've easily rolled over and lost tonight. we didn'tI feel like there is truth in this post, but I think they grew up a lot in the 4th quarter tonight. The team was facing down the barrel of a loaded .45 and took it to em. Defense came through time and time again. Champion caliber defense in the later half of the game. Offense has GOT to get it together and QUICK, we have a hungry A&M team next week!
Did anyone else see the leadership from Blake sims!? I think he's doing a good job. He didn't have a good game, but in those final few possessions he was in the lines face and calming them down. He dun good.
Honest question, did the lack of line play cause Blake's sub par performance? If so, is this injury related? If not, is he the answer? I'm still in his corner but he ain't makin it easy.
And as far as the return team...***?
How quickly we forget the MSU and ULM games in '07. But, yes, this looks like we're literally starting the process all over. From scratch.Worst game I've seen Bama play since the Shula years.
But we won, and the Barn lost!
That was one of Coach Bryant's favorite sayings. He said that teams either improve through the season or they take steps backwards. So far, we're regressing...Seems to me we are getting worse as the season goes on.

Well, I'll bring it up again. Sims didn't (notice I didn't say can't) stretch the field at all today. I think LK lost confidence that he could and once a defense takes away AC, BS doesn't know where to turn.Oline being awful today was not Sims' fault.
Defenses have figured out his weaknesses.Well, I'll bring it up again. Sims didn't (notice I didn't say can't) stretch the field at all today. I think LK lost confidence that he could and once a defense takes away AC, BS doesn't know where to turn.
It would suit me right down to the ground if it's open before they get back to TuscaloosaI think we will have an opening on the staff at the end of the season.
Amen to that!!Hats off to Jonathan Allen, JK Scott, Ryan Anderson and the defense as a whole!
