Could you elaborate for those of us not in the know concerning the line?
After looking, I'm seeing 9.5-10.5, with the models predicting a 16.5 win. So, the bookmakers seem to think we'll underperform. The movement, of course is up to the bettors...
it was higher than it was in BAMA’s favor. We were at double digits 13.5 was the highest I saw per ESPN. Went as low as 8, but now at 9.5

That kind of action is strange. Something weird is going on...
The next bet I place will be my first, so I have no insight into the movement of the line. I'll just say that I wouldn't have bet money on us at -14, but I wouldn't have taken State +14 either. Perhaps an adjustment was required to get money flowing?
