Alabama won't practice Monday, Saban says. Last couple of weeks have been physically draining.

I told my daughter this was our championship drive. I'm so proud of this team, they really played their hearts out!

this team is limping....badly. Think they are overachieving. If they somehow make it to the playoffs, and get some of the guys healthy, I mean really healthy, watch out CFB.

The problem is that the whole committee selection process will be too political. Having two teams from the SEC will bring too much heat on them, even if it is the right thing to do, so I do not see this committee selecting two from the SEC. MS is a great team, and if they win out, then should be one of the final four.

Yup - people need to remember this playoff system exists because of the 2012 BCSCG.

And to think, a lot of folks thought an SECCG would mean no more titles. Now they overreact and put in a system that invites more chances for sec teams to compete for titles. Only the NCAA.

Personally, I'm going to to slo-mo my DVR on Prescott's scramble on the final drive. My eyeballs, not always perfect, saw him stepping 6" OOB just short of the 40 and well short of the 1st down...

I thought the same thing.
