I'm going to say this one more time: Cooper did not come down in bounds. The toe drag only counts if he's dragging it toward the sideline. His heel came down out of bounds in one continuous motion. By rule it is out of bounds. Same thing happened in the 2012 aTm game when Everett intercepted the ball. That one worked out in our favor btw.

i never knew that. thanks

I admit that is a blown call it look like to me he was going for the ball but his hand got his face-mask but the fumble is legit but wished the face mask never happened...But this always happens all the time ref's miss calls even a few feet away...We going to hear it from Ole Miss fans Alabama cheats or ref's cheated for Alabama & so on...
Yeah, it'll go on for a year. Having inlaws from there and a wife who's an OM grad, I think it's part and parcel of the "Gone With The Wind" syndrome. One of their boards had a long thread about their president banning the state flag from the stadium because it has the stars and bars on it. Occasionally, a poster would ask why they were discussing this with a big game coming up. All I can say is that it's just Mississippi...

How many time do refs miss calls...but this one will be replayed and replayed till the tape breaks.

I just saw the clip of the OM player kicking Drake after he got injured. But that won't be played.....

I am still sick to my stomach about Drake, but our boys did a heck of a job this half. All kinds of things did not go our way (who else saw TJ's face after Drake went down?). Our boys grew up a ton over the half, and I think the last half defined who our boys are this year.

(I am still sick to my stomach about Drake).

Notice the commentator's discrepancy with no-calls. (paraphrased)

When Cyrus was held by the WR: Well, that may have been a hold on Cyrus, but oh well
When Cyrus got the mask: Wow! What a missed call!

It's the result of the play that is the difference. One is a first down, the other is a Def TD. Of course it elicits a stronger response.

I don't agree. I think his toe came down slightly before the heel, which is the way the human body works. I'll look at it freeze-frame later, but none of us got a good enough look from the TV to be able to make that as a dogmatic statement...
