Beer Boiled Shrimp


Aug 24, 2015
6 cans decent beer
1 lb Conecuh
2-3 bay leaves
1 TBS coriander seeds
Salt and Pepper, to taste
2 lbs large shrimp
If you want heat, some cayenne or Slap Ya Mama Hot Seasoning

Combine all items EXCEPT shrimp, bring to a boil
Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes or so
Add shrimp, bring to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes or until shrimp turns pink
Remove from heat, discard liquid, serve hot OR chill shrimp and serve over ice with lemon wedges, remolaude and cocktail sauces
