Help. I'm confused about which streaming service to activate before Saturday.
Sling?
ESPN?
ESPN+?
Fubo? (Ouch! $$$)

It appears that whichever service I choose I won't be able to stream ALL our games.

(The extra credit confuser: My wife is from North Dakota, so we also try to stream NDSU games.)

We are in a rental and have Direct Stream, which to be honest, I've been very impressed with. Only down side really is we only get about 20 DVR hours with this package.

However, next year we'll be in a new house and I'll have to make some decisions about which way to go. I've heard nothing but good about YTTV.

not exactly. no channel. it is the actual channels, but the 4 games are random and sometimes one of the choices is meh
That's crazy...I don't know if I could do it. I'm pretty one track mind. I know I couldn't do it with one of them being Bama.

But it would be fun trying with 4 games I don't have as much interest in!

youtubetv let's you watch 4 games at once. think picture in picture but all 4 are equal sized.
I'm glad you mentioned that feature because I had completely forgot about it.

I always cancel my subscription after the postseason but I remember that PIP being really cool and super useful in finding which games were the most entertaining/competitive.

YTTV is the best viewing portal I have seen in the 43 years I have had either cable or now streaming. If there is a remote chance I want to watch something later I record it...no limit. I could pay more and choose 4k, but I don't have 4k eyes and am cheap!! I rarely watch anything live except for Bama football...record and start in after about 20 minutes..FF through the commercials!

Seems like I mention this every year when this subject comes around, but one of my favorite things about YouTubeTV is the ability to pause your subscription, instead of cancel it. This allows me to retain my recordings, settings, etc.

The subscription is over twice the cost it was when I first started, so being able to suspend it for a few months, every year, helps me feel better. :)
