Just to be clear, everyone, it is worse to lose on the road to the team that winds up ranked number 7 by 7 points than it is to lose to the team that winds up ranked number 11 by 53 points, which is why Illinois is still in the poll and Auburn is not.

Bret Bielema won the Big Ten conference three straight years at Wisconsin.
He just had a 10-win season at Illinois.

And yet he was 11-29 with only EIGHT conference games in the SEC, and nearly half of those wins came in one season.

I don't know that he thought that, but I have no doubt he thought he'd do better than he did.

My goodness, I think EVERYONE thought he'd do better than he did even at Arkansas.
