Brian Snitker, who guided the Braves to the 2021 World Series championship, will not return as manager after Atlanta failed to make the postseason for the first time since 2017.

Snitker has been with the organization for 49 years as a minor league player and manager and major league coach and manager.

He led Atlanta to 811 wins, six NL East division titles, one wild-card berth and the 2021 World Series championship in his 10 seasons as manager.

in an era where loyalty is not valued, I value his loyalty. I like Snit and have defended him on here many times. I'm very glad he realized it was time to let go.
