Touching tribute. I believe they parked a squad car by the walk of champions as well.

RIP Officer Cousette

Authorities charged a 20-year-old man Wednesday with capital murder in this week's fatal shooting of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, police officer Dornell Cousette.

….

Prior to the shooting, Watkins was wanted for failing to appear in court on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault, as well two more first-degree robbery counts stemming from incidents on September 6 and 10, police said.

Very impressive and fitting tribute for Officer Cousette. I’m glad the lights were installed, made available, and someone thought to use them in this manner. That light is such an intense blue.

I agree it is a fitting tribute, but why were he blue lights installed?
