I think rugby style punters should be fair game to hit. If you take off running as a punter, then you don't get the benefit of a roughing the kicker penalty.

I hadn't thought of this that way until tonight, but I completely agree. What's to say it isn't a fake?

I don't think so. We got called for running into the kicker tonight, on a rugby style kick, which was completely bogus.

They should be treated as QBs - later hits are late, but those already in motion should be allowed - how can the defender know when the kicker will run with it?
