So who is considered the front-runner for both of them? I have read that it will come down to us and MSU for Pollard because we are close to home and I don't know much about Walker. Seems like I read he likes UCF.

Walker was once a UCF commit. His top 4 is now Bama, UF, FSU, and I draw a blank on the 4th school.

There is a poster on BOL claiming we are going to get a transfer from an SEC school who will add an immediate scorer. He did not say who it is. Also said he will not have to sit out a year and can play immediately. TIFWIW.

The only person I can think of is KT Harrell, but he is from UVA. This should be interesting.

Interesting...

We need a big, so who fits the criteria of big, scorer, SEC player, and would have valid reason (ie - from Alabama) to not sit out a year?

I can't see StinkU giving us Kouassi like that, so who could that be?

I've actually heard that KT is going to Auburn. I cannot think of anyone in the SEC who could transfer, not sit out next year, and be a legit scorer. Unless something stunning happens, I'm not buying that rumor.

I think that's where he ends up.

Could the BOL poster be referring to Tyrone Haughton? He is 6'9" out of Miami who signed with USCe but could probably get a release due to Horn being fired. That could explain not having to sit out a year. I'm not sure he qualifies as an answer to more scoring however.

Best case scenario in my opinion would be M State losing out on their commit Gavin Ware and having him choose BAMA. Would be same situation, a release would mean no transfer and no 'sit-out'. There is also Jordan Hare (who would need a quick nickname) who could probably get released from Rhode Island. BAMA offered all three of these guys earlier in the process.

wow..what a name

The only instance I know of where an SEC player was allowed to play without sitting out was Albert Means. The NCAA bent just about every rule they had in that case. For that reason, I think, if there's anything to the rumor at all, it's someone who's committed elsewhere and who can get a release...
