One brother had 102 pts the other had 35 assists. Their team won 119-25. If I'm on the other team, I'm taking legs out from under them, goon-style, for taking advantage of us. I hate stuff like this. But that's just me.

Yeah, I wouldn’t let that happen. Both of em gonna be on the floor writhing in pain and I’m getting ejected. And the coach will get an earful for being a d-canoe and allowing it.

It’s interesting to see the dichotomy on Reddit.

In a sport like soccer where goal differential is often a league tiebreaker I get it, but not in football or basketball.

I suspect it’s mostly younger kids that have 0 issue with running it up like that, but in my time playing competitive sports you played until you had the game won. If you were up 40-0 you subbed in the scrubs. Looking to embarrass your opponent was bad form.

Hell, my first competitive high school game we got the ball to the opponents one with time on the clock. We had the game in hand (multiple scores). Jack Wood had Cox kneel it 3 times to run it out and we went home. That stuck with me.
