Question: Can you be arrested in this country for an inappropriate tweet?

I seen where a college student in the Uk made a inappropriate tweet and was given 56 days in jail, wondering if this could happen here.

Just try and make a threat against the President, regardless who it is, on Twitter. You will most likely be getting a visit from someone.

In this case, the tweets were racial about a soccer player who had a heart attack.

That is just retarded, and I hope we never see such invasiveness over here.

So they are arresting people, destroying this guy's career, because other people were offended, NOT because he was making threats.
