I just listened to his post game presser. When questioned he said going to Shuman about “changing personnel” and “don’t remember it” (shoving the player).

So in the Gator Bowl against Clemson, what were Hayes comments? He tried to excuse it also by saying he “didn’t remember doing it”.

And like you said, the milk toast media didn’t even care to follow up to challenge that comment.,
I will say the ajc (Atlanta Journal Constitution) has been pretty consistent with their criticism of the "culture" at uga. In fact they have published several articles about all the incidents. The fans dismissed it as "haters." One radio do went even further to ask "how dare you publish these articles about the premier university in the state?"

after the non-stop gushing from 21 through most of 23, that's been a pleasant surprise from the ajc

That proves my point. You have a legit reason to hate Harbaugh just like we do with Kirby.
I might have a reason to, but choose not to. I understand the difference though. He is gone, never to return. Kirby is going to be in your backyard for decades to come.

If it was a genius move, they would have put more than 12 on the field.
*shrugs*

More than one sports guy has mentioned it as such (Bud and Tom on cover 3 both lean towards intentional / genius).

Also mentioned this is not the first time this has been done (previously done by Belichik in the NFL, iirc).

Evidently, Kirby says that he was going after Schumann and the contact was unintentional. I'm seen CNS get after his assistants, but he looked like he wanted to tackle someone. He needs to get a grip. BTW - I remember everyone wanting Schumann for DC before we got Wommack.

I also remember watching the OSU - Clemson game when I was a kids and seeing Woody Hayes hit the player from Clemson.

i hope so, his inner rage monkey is really starting to show itself.

excusing it by saying "i didn't see them" is pretty low rent
Talk about "no conscience" and blind rage! I remember all of my times that I got upset on the court at a ref, and regretted later after thinking about my behavior in public. I've never thrown any chairs or anything, but maybe idle bantering about a call.

I was halfway kidding but OSU almost completed the pass. A few more defenders might have helped.

I don't think the refs stop play if they see way too many defenders lined up. If they do, then my plan probably wouldn't work.
