Central High (my parking spot) gone?!?!

I just heard for the 1st time that Central was torn down. Why?

Will there be no parking there? I finally found a quick way in/out of Tuscaloosa, reasonable parking and a way to beat traffic and now it's gone...poof. Any ideas for parking for those of us on west side that don't want to spend half our time walking around the stadium before we even begin to head to our cars.

Central has gone bye-bye

Or at least is in the process of being demolished to make room for a new school. You won't be able to park there this year.

New High Schools

We now have 2 new high schools in that school system now - NorthRidge High School & Paul Bryant High School - the students who do NOT go to either of the new schools will go to a soon-to-be-built NEW Central HIgh School. (They are currently using another building further west in town till the new one is finished.) The old building has been torn now (well is in the process of )

As far as gameday parking - nothing has been said about what will take the place of that spot. I'm sure the closer we get to Saturday, something will be announced though. Stay tuned.......

Man, the parking situation is going to be ridiculous this year.

Far be it from me to stand in the way of improvement, but theyve got like all the lots on campus torn up. I live less than 10 minutes away from campus and I have to leave the house a half hour early to find parking before class. It's going to be interesting to watch the RVs start rolling in this week. Whoever had the idea to tear up all the parking lots at the same time probably should have thought through that one a little more.
