I cannot believe how far off the lead he came from to win...have not seen that in a long time, but it does happen in a long race such as the Kentucky Derby.
The 1994 Breeder’s Cup Classic at Churchill. Watch eventual winner Concern. Dead last at the first turn and most of the way down the backstretch. Watch his kick at the turn.
This was against the likes of Tabasco Cat, Go For Gin, Bertrando and Best Pal among others.

It's so unlike Jimbo to bend the rules. I mean, the way he handled Jameis' issues showed Jimbo's impeccable character.

Honestly I’m happy for Mike Bianco to finally get a CWS. It’s been well deserved after a long string of heartaches there. Now I hope Alabama and Arkansas are the next to get some peace for their historic heartache there.
That is a little misleading. Mississippi St was actually last in the SECW. Ole Miss was 5th. Alabama getting swept by USCe and Miss St losing late put ole miss in 5th in the order going into Hoover.
What is crazy is that Alabama swept Ole Miss in Oxford and had a higher RPI but was not in the last 4 out.
I have to admit I do not follow baseball that closely, but I read that as Ole Miss, at one time in the season (when Ole Miss was 7-14 in the SEC), being in last place in the SECW.
Still, congrats to Ole Miss.
Now, on the the revenge tour of football season...
Local assistant football coach Owen Davidson turned 80 and had a little celebration.....
