We did an appraisal a few years ago for a fellow that was a walk on WR at Bama when Namath was there. He told me he was 155 pounds back then. Namath threw him a pass in practice so hard it knocked him down. Coach Bryant walk by him and said “ boy you never gonna make it.” That was the only thing coach Bryant ever said to him the 4 years he was there. Players today couldn’t deal with that.

I was confused by the picture isolated on the shoes also. Young people today leave the tags on apparel, it’s a fad ( if that is still a word used today.)
