2020 was probably the final Bama murder ball machine. If/when we win another gold trophy, it will be more like 1992 under Stallings as opposed to the 6 under CNS

Bizarrely enough, our current team is somewhat similar to that.

Something really strange happened in the season opener that year against Vanderbilt where Bama had to kick to Vandy to start both halves. I don't know if it was just an oversight or if Bama actually opted to do that. I don't think I've ever seen that happen again

Maybe. Probably. We'll see. I have some hope that with Steele as DC and with improvement along the OL + a stronger QB room that we'll hopefully have next year we have a shot at one more great run in us.
