Chicken: White or Dark Meat?

I'm a breast man myself (don't get any ideas ;) ) so I like my white meat better, but will most definitely eat legs and thighs as well.

I was just curious as to others preferences, since my dad will NOT eat dark meat at all.
 
I eat whatever is left on the platter or grill.

Guess that puts me at the bottom of the "pecking" order.
 
If it is BBQ...

(or smoked) Dark meat.

If it is Baked or Fried, white meat.

Ooh... do you mean the little tenderloin medallions? MmmmMMmmm!

I tend to always cook skinless chicken breasts. I'd go for white meat if the person cooking it knows what they're doing and doesn't dry it out. I nice juicy leg from a beer butt chicken always hits the spot though!

You hit the nail on the head. Back meat is the most tender part of a chicken.

I always cook with the skin on a chicken....dries out if you do not...besides the skin adds flavor.
