Good coach and a classy guy, I have always respected Coach Petersen. Looks like Washington handled the transition seemlessly

The Oklahoma-Boise St Fiesta Bowl was one of the best games I ever watched.

Can't believe he's done coaching. He's only 55 so I think someone will offer him big bucks and he'll end up somewhere else eventually.

Refreshing to see a head coach leave on his own terms.

You don't that every day!

He'd be a great addition to the SEC if he ever decided to return to coaching.

Maybe he's just taking a break.

This doesn't seem like an Urban Meyer "spend time with family". This seems more like a heart not in it anymore and just needs to get away.

On the SECN crawler today he was quoted as saying he was stressed out and needed a break. Might return to coaching one day. He very well also may want to spend time with his family as that is something any dad would want to do more of, I would think.
