I've always considered The Pretenders to be our best version of what we've gotten from the UK rock bands over the years. Both in demeanor and the quality of actual music.

Was at a local bar one night and stepped out for some air. Saw a woman who looked just like Chrissie Hynde doing the same. I truly can't remember if I said anything to her, but if I did it would have been "Wow - you bear a strong resemblance to Chrissie Hynde!"

Great song, obviously but this version with Mick Ronson's guitar work is amazing........
