But like he said....wouldn't be shocking to see them pull away at the end.....so 37-17 might be quite possible.....especially if we have worn them out by quarter four

Well Jess mentioned it with a caveat but the Bama secondary has been getting ravaged by many as the "weak link". I think they have played pretty dang good for almost the whole year. I think some "experts" still see a freshman Kareem Jackson getting torched game after game in coverage still. Some of these catches lately have been either seeds or players making big plays. It happens. Since Arkansas they've been solid in my book. We'll see but they've been brilliant in run support, helping bring QB pressure, and have even caused coverage sacks not that the Front 7 needs much help. If they are the weak link I'll take my chances with them.

What happened to the Tigers in the Pitt game? Honestly I don't know for sure but they were getting shredded.

Bama had Minkah and Reuben go down in the OM game and things went down fast after they got their footing after that disastrous first quarter.

I think it will be a much closer game to Jess's score than 45-40.

If this defense gives up 40 Bama will have been destroyed. If Clemson gets 40 it will likely be due to pick sixes or JH fumbling in the Red Zone.

the secondary played lights out against a uw offense that everyone told us would make their share of plays. they made 1

I agree with Jess, as usual. It will be a close game. Time for me to get out the Tums on Monday! It will be even closer than I'd like if Jalen turns the ball over once or twice. That and Special teams might decide the game. Hope Adam has a perfect last game too!

Thanks... I have been looking forward to your review all week. I'll take a one point win if necessary. I just hope we don't let Watson beat us with his legs. 3rd down scrambles

Agreed. Without Kiffin's "cuteness", we play more ball control, hold for the TOP (unlike last year, where our defense actually did get a bit tired late) and start wearing them down in the second. I look to break them fairly early this year when they realize it isn't going to be quite as "easy" as they were thinking it was going to be, relying too much on last year's close score early to motivate them in this game. Reality will set in very quickly.

Thanks for the great preview. I look forward to the post-game celebration.

Roll Tide!!!

I hope we are wrong and it's a wider margin (for our heart's sakes), but I picked 23-17 too in the prediction thread.
