Game Thread: Clemson vs. Auburn

You should hear the boogs on AUFamily. They want Roof gone now and some of them are at each other's throats. It was real funny to see the difference between the early parts of their game thread and the latter. Meltdown!

Winning has a tendency to gloss over major problems.

Will be interesting to see if the wheels come off now that the streak is over.

That simply cannot be true. That is a real family down there! But I suppose this weekend will be beneficial for the health of the trees. :)

I just got back, all I can say is Holy Moley! Mr. Danny Sheirdan said the barn would win 7 or 8 games in his considered opinion. :p:biggrin:
He repeated it on the PF show! I see 2 or 3 more wins maybe. He better give up the bag man, to take the heat off!
Oh Danny Boy your reputation is a fading, you shot your mouth off & now cant back it up.

:BigA:The eagle crashed last week and the team crashed this week. Would a top defensive player really want to play in this defense? The roof fell in and the house is crashing.:conf2:

Tee-hee-hee

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of booger-eaters, and done by a former Bama man at that.
I had a suspicion Clemson was looking ahead last week; I don't think they (DS) forgot last year.
So now it's time for the NCAA to drop the hammer - the barn love-bubble has burst, and the smell is going to get very bad very quick.
Again...tee-hee-hee.

But I did figure something out...now all I have to do is pick the barn to win and they will lose....dang, it seems so simple...

My quote of the day -

"I couldn't think of a better place to end the streak than Death Valley, South Carolina, baby," said Clemson coach Dabo Swinney, part of Alabama's 1992 national title team. "It's only fitting that an Alabama grad would be in charge of the team that ended the winning streak."

:biggrin2: Me too! At least we started with the third game of the season.

Other things of interest that I noticed (barn defensive failures aside) don't know if anyone else picked up on it but it seemed as though Urban was calling a lot of the barn offensive plays during the game before or as they happened. Malzahn has looked pretty average in some of the playcalling thus far this season, imo, and this wasn't his best game. I'm still surprised McCaleb pretty much shares carries with Dyar, yet Dyar & Mason seems the most capable backs & dynamic playmakers they have. Mason is going to be a major talent for them and is scary on special teams as a returner.
