WOW..That literally gave me goose bumps listening to Coach Saban..If I was a rival fan that just watched this video..I would be sick to my stomach knowing "The Process" is clicking on all cylinders & Coach Saban is happier than ever at Bama..Coach Saban sure looked inspired in that video..Not good at all for Auburn, LSWho, the Viles & the rest of college football..Dang man..I wanna tackle somebody now..

The 5:15 mark is absolute classic Coach Saban..The man speaks the truth..

Thanks for the post HitMan54. This speech is how Coach Saban starts his camps right after sign-ups. Coach Saban and the coaching staff have done it this way from day one of his first camp. I only say this because he very much practices what he preaches as he has improved on his own process of the way he runs his camp. Unlike his predecessor which used other divisional (college and high school) coaches to coach the kids, Coach Saban uses all his coaches doing the same warm-ups and drills in an organized but fast paced efficient manner that he uses with the big boys. The older groups practices outdoors also. And yes Coach is right out there coaching and making sure things are on course with Coach Cochran's illuminating voice.

Best sermon on character and discipline which lead to success that i have heard in a while. The good thing -- he backs it up with performance. No wonder he is a success...

WOW... I think everyone of us can take something out of that and apply it to his/her everyday life.

He's talking to a bunch of kids in a camp but what he said is perfectly transferrable to what we all do day in and day out. I hope everyone takes that into perspective in everything that they do. God knows I spent so much time that I could have invested..

I think that is last year's speech--regardless it is powerful and perfect for those parents who still baby their 9-14 year old boys! We went this year and he did an equally AMAZING speech. I videoed it and will try to post soon!

That is about as unique but as true of a statement as I've ever heard.

I made it my goal today to be disciplined in what I know to do. That simple.

In short, I worked when I didn't really just absolutely have to.(self employed)..

You know what? One of the best days of business I've had in quite a while.

I don't plan on changing my approach ever again.

I'm blessed from above and I'm blessed to be an alumnus of a school that hired a guy who inspires me as well.

That video should be mandatory viewing in every public school in America.

It could change a bunch of lives.

I assume that there was supposed to be a "Not" after "I would ". Therefore, I assume your post was "A self righteous judgemental slight at my post"

If my son, a youth director, uses this video to influence youth in a positive direction, I'll take him to lunch, buy him a ticket to a Braves game, and fly him to Atlanta!

I really don't care what you think about it and your opinion matters nothing to me.

Seriously I've sat through several 'motivate the cogs in the machine' type speeches, this one in part because of it's direct brevity was one of the best. Solid life-coach advice.

My goodness - I shouldn't have said anything.

I just don't see how anyone could find anything but "positive" in that speech. It was 100% total truth in my opinion.
I heard nothing that I could argue with. I know he did indeed say. "Moms, you don't want to hear this but that's B.S."
Well guess what? It's B.S.
I'll just say this..the most disciplined, relentless, determined and persevering person in the history of this planet was Jesus, so I don't see where you could get a negative from anything Coach Saban said.
