I looked it up. He played WR in college and was an OC for a few years before becoming head coach. He said he does not plan to coach anywhere else for awhile. So was Shaw a defensive or offensive coach?

You can win there. Your assistants just have spend 90% of their recruiting efforts in California and Texas to have any chance at moderate success.I hope he doesn't take the Colorado job. It is almost impossible to win there now.
Maybe in the past. Not sure about now.You can win there. Your assistants just have spend 90% of their recruiting efforts in California and Texas to have any chance at moderate success.
What if the University doctors prescribed pot for pain management? I was thinking about this earlier, what a potential recruiting tool.I hope he doesn't take the Colorado job. It is almost impossible to win there now.
Dunno. Isn't Colorado in the PAC12? The same conference thats losing their two bellweathers? Plus, I think he can recruit in those areas. If he has a good year or two (like 7-5) he really ups his chances to get a big time job.IMHO, Deion needs to wait for a winning situation to open up...he can win @ Colorado, but it isn't easy due to recruiting.
Really good points...didn't think about those moving to the Big Ten+2/4Dunno. Isn't Colorado in the PAC12? The same conference thats losing their two bellweathers? Plus, I think he can recruit in those areas. If he has a good year or two (like 7-5) he really ups his chances to get a big time job.
That seems to be the most profitable way to do it. I still say these guys aren't getting fired. They are winning the lottery.Dang old Willie doesn’t specialize in coaching. He specializes in “getting hired and fired from coaching”.
USC most definitely. UCLA still somewhat to be determined. USC is a private university. UCLA is part of the University of California System. My understanding is there has been some backlash over the decision to leave with USC. Could be some legal wrangling on the horizon.Dunno. Isn't Colorado in the PAC12? The understatement of the year...Cal will want a bundle or inclusion...either way they wield significant power through the board.Could be some legal wrangling on the horizon.
Do I get my significant award now or do I have to wait until the end of December? The understatement of the year...Cal will want a bundle or inclusion...either way they wield significant power through the board.
