Or the “DJ Double Cheese” on the Jack’s Coaches Menu……Add Durkin Donuts to the Waffle House menus in Lee County; for 2 years anyway.

I agree with this. If he stays then Sumrall would likely be LSU's prime target. Not disputing elevating Durkin to HC at auburn, but IMO that would be a desperation hire to keep the existing staff and players. Grolesh the HC at USF, if he is still available, would be someone for Florida to at least talk with. Need to replenish my supply of Orville Redenbacher.
Theyd be fools to go to oregon stIf any of Bama’s QBs jump in the portal, this could be a huge get for them.
Well, until they attract a billionaire family to start contributing to NIL. Players go to green these days no matter the landscape around the school.
Need to do something because they are going the way of SewanneeThey are ranked 42nd in NIL per On3... They need an venture capitalist to load them up!

Source: Lane Kiffin is lining up LSU staff
Mississippi coach Lane Kiffin has said he'll make his decision on whether to stay put on Saturday.www.nbcsports.com
If CLK is contacting potential coaches that might be a sequence in his decision process. See who’s available and willing to go with him.
IMO he should stay in Oxford if in fact $$$ isn’t a factor. His personality and the fanbase volatility when things go slightly sideways are not a good combination.
Auburn and Florida have both shown they are clueless if the reports are true...
Auburn told Sumrall he'd have to retain Durkin and Nix...
Florida put a deadline on Kiffy and 'moved on'...
Good luck with that guys...
Yeah, perhaps he's not the most reliable but Kiffin said he's going to discuss things with Carroll and Saban. I don't know what Carroll will tell him but I'm pretty certain Saban will tell him to take the LSU job since Saban feels it's the best job available.Florio also is a pot stirrer too. So take his “scoop” with a grain of salt.
It’s a big decision, he could honestly be having trouble. It comes with the maturity. With Kiffin "dragging" this out, it just shows the content of his character. Not sure I would want that at Bama.
Let them eke out a win tonight and that shifts 180 degrees. The angst on the SECRant Barn board is yummy; full meltdown over possible Durkin hire.
It is a big decision, and there is a chance he gets an opportunity to win an SEC championship, even a National championship this year with his current team. They are pretty good. So he has to weigh a decision that may have an adverse affect on this team this year. People can say what they want, but this is a hard decision. The here and now vs the possible better future opportunity .It’s a big decision, he could honestly be having trouble. It comes with the maturity.
But, you have to consider recruiting classes, the early signing period. IMO, The early signing period is the dumbest thing ever invented. I mean, let’***** the recruiting trail while preparing for our biggest rivals, conference championship games and the first round of the playoffs. Will Petrino land anywhere? What about Kelly? I could see Auburn going after either of those guys.
This insanity during the season has to end. All this upheaval and distraction during the season, at the height of the playoff race, can't be allowed to continue. Maybe any coaching changes should only be allowed during the portal windows...everybody moves around at the same time.
From what we've heard Russell isn't close to being ready to be a starter. How much he can or will improve by next season is anybodys guess. But having the choice between a QB in Simpson who's proven hes a starter and a kid who so far isn't ready, DeBoer would be a fool to start a kid who (so far) has shown hes not ready and tell a kid who is a proven starter, hes not welcomed back. He turns down Simpson just to keep Russell and we go 7-5 with Russell as the starter, would be disastrous.
NIL and draft grade will form his decision
