Coaching carousel 2025-26

We can flim flam around with the quarterback stuff, but this has been a phenomenal turnaround, and should be celebrated.
Yes, I'm with you. I really, really want to upset Indy (never thought I say that about football) but even if we lose this game this season as been AN OVERWHELMING SUCCESS!!!

Putting it into context of the last couple of years under CNS, the mass exodus last year and all the drama that came with the last couple of teams and (considering that context) this has been a HUGE BOUNCE-BACK year!

I'm really excited to see what the future holds when some of these younger bucks/recruits we've got coming in become starters!!!

Combine an offense that I believe will only get better with a Defense that is already good enough to win a championship and I think the future is bright!!!

If he keeps getting into the playoffs every year and past the first round, its going to be tough to get rid of him.
I was talking to my youngest the other day about how all the moving parts will likely change the way we view coaches and players historically.

Not so long ago, to become a "legendary" player at a school like Bama it required at least winning an SEC championship if not a national championship (or perhaps winning the Heisman/Outland/etc or being an All-American a few times) and for a coach to become a legend it really required winning an SEC and national title at least once.

With the portal, NIL and the expanded(ing?) playoff, what will it require to attain "legendary" status at a school like Bama?

Strange days.
