Convoluted way to say “fired†lol. What about this OC…
Not only that, but we fired a defensive guy when our offense is the root cause of our issues? Maybe this is just the beginning.
He's a Co-DC and Secondary coach. this one was little surprising to me.
Maybe we are waiting for Black Monday? For those that do not know Black Monday is the Monday after the last regular season NFL game. There are a slew of firings and there may possibly be a current OC available.
Not that my opinion matters but I’m granting a pass for the OC this year. I’m convinced his workable playbook was extremely limited.

A little more disconcerting than that actually. He got rid of a guy he didn't have a previous relationship and apparently is moving a guy he did have a previous relationship with (Chuck Morrell) onto the staff.
Let's see if he replaces Sheridan as playcaller, or makes other moves... I am not a fan of just hiring from the rather limited pool of coaches he's worked with though.
Tommy Rees did a much better job with Milroe last year. Sheridan needs to go imo.
How much of that is on Milroe and how much is on the QB coach (Sheridan)?We fixed the offensive issue yesterday when Milroe declared for the draft...
Conservatively, 99% on Milroe...
Kiffin and Sark couldn't have done any better with him.
And as a whole the safeties did well, even with losing Saab. I thought Hubbard stepped in and played well in his place.

Wow didn’t really have an issue with the secondary this year. With all the losses, and injuries, I thought they over-performed.

Obviously none of it could have anything to do with a guy who once averaged 17.3 points per game as a playcaller. He's clearly an offensive genius and you want proof? He once worked with DeBoer and that is what it takes to get on the Alabama staff and prove you're one of the best coaches in the country!
Cynically that might be the way to go, get all your friends big paychecks before your seat gets too hot. I won't think otherwise until he hires a playcaller that wasn't fired for being completely incompetent.
