The discussion at the 6:50 point is worth a listen. Talking about "cover 6" defense and the effect it has on a QB going through his progressions.
What's funny is that they are not uga fans. I've been following these guys WAAAAAAAAAAY before they became the nerds they are today.
Josh is an Alabama fan. I have known him since middle school. He graduated from Alabama with a degree in engineering and law. He bleeds crimson as much as anybody, but he does try to remain impartial for analytical purposes. The other gentleman, I'm not sure where his fandome lies. I do understand your position though.
Not to my knowledge. I have heard Daniel openly declare himself a Bama fan. I honestly think Josh is one of those rare people who likes the math/analytics more than any one team.
It can't be as bad as Peter Burns on SEC Morning yesterday letting his LSU fandom slip out when discussing the UGA/Bama game. He spent more time "being impressed" by UGA's comeback than acknowledging anything good about Alabama. Chris Doering surprisingly reeled him in several times on it. I'm not a fan of Burns, as far as I'm concerned he can go choke on a corndog wrapped in a flannel sock.
Burns should be doing the weather forecast on some local channel in Louisiana somewhere. He's a clown and serves no purpose on the show.
They are both active participants/fans on a paid Bama forum. One screen name makes it clear he's a Bama alum

I am so sick of the georgia apologist crap. Kudos to georgia for coming back but wins and losses still matter Ladies and gentlemen. It feels like every time alabama beats georgia there is these talking heads slobbing over themselves to claim georgia "the better team". IF alabama and georgia play again in the post season. Both teams will be way different. Some guys will be banged up. Some guys will be healthier. Who knows. But people act like georgia is going to be able to do everything they did in the second half in the next game. The odds of them going 5/5 on 4th downs are very slim. And the odds of bama attacking georgia the same exact way are very slim.
I think (not sure). Dabeor attacked Oregon very differently in round 2 than he did round 1.

They are all the more impressive to me now knowing that they are Alabama fans. You really would never guess it watching their vids.
I believe that's a smoke screen if they said that, but i listen to them pretty religiously and i've never heard them admit to that.
Both of them used to be big posters over on bama online. Not sure if both of them graduated from bama, but one of them i know did. The other one used to write epic breakdowns every thursday called "thursday thoughts" that were even more informative than the info they put out nowadays. they've been running their model for possibly a decade or more? they would run it for those thursday breakdowns.
I remember when they first started the podcasts and i'm pretty sure that i directed myself to them from a link they posted on BOL.
I'm at least 95% certain that it's them because Josh originally went by "huskypup" when they started podcasting which was the name of the poster on BOL that wrote the "thursday thoughts."
Daniel likes the braves, but they're bama fans at the end of the day. Sorry for nerding out about the nerds.
