Comparing Two Nameless QBs

That is my feeling when I watch most of the professional drafts. I hear the words "potential" or "up side" way too much. IMO the top 15 picks should be somewhere between can't miss and probable star.

Completely baffles me why these pro GMs don't let the colleges develop these guys for free, all the way through their senior years. Look at Daniels at LSU. He was on his way to a career in fast food but grew into a real QB this last year. This is either his 5th or 6th year in college. Point being, you'll know a lot more about these guys after a FULL college career than you will as a redshirt sophomore.

If JM continues on his current track he'd get drafted...not sure where but someone would take the risk. Just baffles me.

There is an ON3 article from a year or so ago that talks about the most successful NFL QBs tend to be guys who started for a lot of games in college. There are exceptions, especially more recently, but the more starts you get in college the better you tend to be in the NFL.

Right now I'd say there is no way Milroe goes to the draft this year. But if he goes off vs Auburn and then Georgia? Idk Crazier things have happened. At the very least he would probably end up with a Heisman invite
After Texas and USF, I never thought we could win ten games, and I certainly would have bet a lot of money against anyone mentioning Milroe for a Heisman. This team has come a long way. It's been fun to watch. I hope they continue to progress and get to the SECCG at 11-1. It should be a fun ride once again.

Well done. I couldn't believe AR went 4th pick. JM might be playing himself into getting rich next year. Considering his early season struggles I can't even believe I just wrote those words.
Given how Richardson has done well this season in NFL... Teams might be intriqued by Milroe. If there's a chance he's drafted in 1st round.... I don't see Milroe leaving though.

Yeah, I don't understand how you'd risk that many millions and a top pick on "future potential" but pro organizations do this all the time in the NBA and NFL.

But to JM's credit he's making some folks see how he could "potentially" be the next Jalen Hurts.
