Corley commits to LSU

Re: Any truth to this Tigerforum claim that Corley has commited to LSU?

Honestly, the funny guys stuff isnt funny. You can be correct on whatever you want to, but your humor is lacking.

And we all know LSU covered up Perriloux. Good luck on probation.

Close only counts in horseshoes and grenades, and since you all can't seem to master football and just have good teams every so often maybe you should go back to playing horseshoes.

tigerhead,
You, sir, are a straight up ...... Is that funny enough for you? Hope you enjoyed your stay here. Mods, take out the trash please.

Link?

I am surprised as anyone by this commitment. I am not to optimistic about our chances with every other recruit that is left though.

Guys... stop ALL of the sparring or you'll earn some time in the brig. All of you LSU guys... remember that this is a UA board... and things said after a deal like this is speaking off the cuff in disappointment many times. Don't feel as if you are compelled to offer rebuttles... it will only inflame people more.

Note... I would feel the exact same way in the opposite sides if I were a mod on an LSU site.

hope he likes the smell of corndogs...and i would have said this even if we had gotten him--he's probably overrated. Most of our DL commits compare very favorably to him, look at him vs. Jeremy Elders as far as the tale of the tape--and Elders' numbers are combine verified.

Read Rule #1 at the top again guys.

Don't make me be a bad guy.

What disappointing news! Oh well, I would have loved to have him, but he is now history. I wish him luck at LSU (except when he plays us!)
... i'm thinking no one is history for us until they sign another school's LOI this coming wednesday

No surprise here. I never thought we had Corley to start with. If i remember correctly (and that`s a big "IF") the previous staff didn`t show any love to Corley. I don`t think we were on his or Phelon`s radar until CNS arrived.

One thing people need to start paying attention to is the recruit's host. It plays a way bigger role than most think. Read what you want to about Sidell and Miles, but Chevis Jackson stole Jones and Corley, not Miles

I have to think you nailed that one! I remember my son telling me that he only failed in one case to get a commitment out of all the kids he hosted while in college. Ironically, that one was among his best friends from high school and a year behind him.

I missed the weekend as I was in Alabama, that's right, I was in Alabama all weekend, Sat. nite in Wetumpka, and Sunday in Hueytown. I wasn't shocked to find out this news when I got home this morning. I must say, though, that I credit Miles more than anyone. PJ was very likely a big help, but without Miles, PJ wouldn't be an LSU commit in the first place. Sidell's father was very impressed with CLM, as was PJ's dad. I look for more recruits from that school to choose LSU in the future, as I believe both of their dad's are coaches there. Recruiting is all about building relationships, and apparently CLM has done a good job of that.

On a side note, is there a place in the world with more deer than Highway 231 in Alabama? I saw more deer yesterday evening driving down 231 than I have seen all year, and I live in rural MS!

CLM has so much "Integrity" as was quoted by Sidell's father in a Louisiana news site so I am not surprised at all of his commitment to "Mr. Integrity". The kid I don't think ever really liked Bama for what ever reason, a long time UF commitment as proof. Hope he does great for ya'll.

My deer huntin' cousins here in N. Alabama swear they never seen as many deer in their life as they seen In West Virginia. But we do have way more than I remember when I was a kid.

I bagged a deer in Mississippi back in 1981 between Jackson and Meridian on I-20 East. He bolted out of the brush and in two leaps he was in front of me and I was doing about 75mph. I had to replace the grill, radiator, hood and windshield on a new Buick Riviera.

I've lived in Alabama all my life, seen plenty of deer. but i HAVE NEVER seen as many as when we drove through West Virginia. kinda scary on those curvy mountain roads, they were ALL over the place!!!
