Dabo loses it on a fan....

I've since actually listened to the call and Dabos response. First, the position Dabo is in, you don't even respond to that type of question. The length of that response should have been "Tyler, I think you called the wrong show, this ain't the Finebaum show" and move onto the next caller. The more you address it the more sensitive and immature you look.

Second, Rece Davis said it best. It has gotten to the point where we have allowed "fans"/people in general to say anything they want with no limits and when the consequences of what they said comeback, we scream "but they have free speech". He said Dabo shouldn't have taken the bait but it was nice to see Tyler from Spartanburg's idiotic comments get dressed down and have it replayed all week.

Agree to disagree. Dabo comes off as thin-skinned. The caller offered the bait and Dabo took it hook, line, and sinker. If he put a fraction of the energy he spent going off on this kid into coaching his team, he might not be 4-4.
Saban would never take that bait. He might give you the exasperated “Look…” and then go off on a tangential rant or something like that but he’d never sink to that level of pettiness.

If Dabo had just taken the high road no one would know who Tyler from Spartanburg even is, let alone know what he said. Too many people will take the wrong message from this whole episode and look for their 15 minutes. Entirely too much oxygen is given to obnoxious idiots in today's media environment - I'd rather they just crawl back under their rocks as a result of being justly ignored.
