There has always been the talk that when Saban retires, Bama will go after Dabo. Do you believe that still to be the case now given that his team looks like garbage now?

I didn't want Dabo under any circumstances. Now that he can't beat Pitt, I'd say yeah, his stock has gone way down.

I don't think anyone on Tidefans has a strong opinion on him one way or another.
Actually, I don't think it ever was the case, even when Dabo was at his peak. He certainly wasn't preferred around here.
It's funny how every coach I've ever wanted when they were on their ascent topped out and never really achieved what I thought they would. Whoever hires Saban will most likely no be able to maintain. I have a feeling that Saban's successor will be someone that is not currently a hot name.
I don't think Dabo was every going to come here and I hope his descent continues so he's not even a consideration. His whole schtick is incredibly unappealing to mean and I'd have a hard time convincing myself to support him.
He only wears sissy blue shirts, so I don't see him being compatiable with Crimson colored...well, socks!!!

I'd say Dabo's stock really depends on what happens next season. Can Clemson bounce back? If they get back into the playoff next season most people will view this season as just an anomaly but if they struggle again next season his stock drops sharply. It might be a bit early to start "shorting" his stock but I don't know if Alabama would hire him anyway if they can sense that the majority of the fanbase is turned off by him.
