It’s quite obvious that this man can flat coach up Quaterbacks. The Allen boys at Arkansas and what he’s done with our guys, especially Jalen, is remarkable. In defense of Jalen, this is the first real QB coach he’s had at Bama and we all see how much he’s improved. RTR

Enos is a great coach and he coaches the entire game. If Locksley leaves Enos should be promoted to OC.

From what I’ve seen, with the explosive offense and just simply outstanding QB play, he may be one of the best assistants CNS has ever had.

Stop that talk now, someone may hear you and come snatch him away.

He seems to have a calming and confidence building effect on the QB's. I saw him standing by Jalen and got the feeling Jalen was being reassured THEY had been preparing to be ready for this.

I’m hoping that happens so we have more seem less transition. Has Enos been an OC before?

Yes, he was the OC at Arky and gave us fits with lesser talent. I danced a jig when we hired Enos away from Michigan. He, along with DL coach Kool, where the best possible hires that CNS could make at those positions IMHO.

If Locksley takes the Maryland job, I’d rather see him leave than coach in the playoffs. We’ve just been burned too many times by a coach without his head in the game. And Dan Enos is a great OC, not just a great QB coach.

Yes, he was OC at Arky when the Allen brothers were there. Ran a very creative pro style offense. IMO he is one of the best OCs in the country.

Enos has indeed done a great job with Jalen, who struggled in the last part of the season last year. Part of that may have been the Daboll offense in general. Regardless, Enos has shown great coaching skills and I hope he stays at Bama a long time. We may lose Locksley, but I think Enos stays.

It appears to me that Locksley is not so great at making quick adjustments when the defense has taken away the deep ball. With Alabama's talent imo that there is a time to get out of the spread and play smash mouth rather that expect Tua to make a pin point throw under pressure. Having Enos is no accident but I feel blessed to have it at Bama.

Yeah frankly I did not understand why we insisted on forcing the throw. We had the ability to gash them running, and had success doing it. Only down 1-2 TDs all game with loads of time on the clock, why did we abandon the run so completely so early? Especially when the QB, WRs, and line were struggling in the passing game. We went a few series without attempting a single run and using only slow developing deep routes.

I trust CNS judgement but this seems like a good idea. I would think player morale would play into the decision as a subtle undertone as well.

And, we had a very tired defense that needed a breather.
