Tidesports.com is saying that all practices are closed to the public. That is extremely disappointing. My brother and I went last year and were looking forward to going this year. Anyone know why that is?

i am with u on that. i am a student at ua and i used to go and watch practices/scrimmages for a couple hours after classes. i enjoyed doing that very much. saban isnt opening them to the public probably to keep out so much distraction. if there not enough already

I expected the practices to be closed to the public, and in fact I'll bet the after practice Q&A sessions that were covered daily on CT come to an end as well.

And I'm fine with that - I appreciate how business-like CNS approaches this.

They need to be closed he is putting in everything new and I might be down during that time and I could go, but I understand.

If memory serves me correctly, Mike Shula closed all practices his first year at Alabama. Probably didn't want to reveal to all that he was clueless on what he was going to do.

Does anyone know if Fan Day will be on the morning of the A-Day game as it has been in recent years? I saw no mention of it on Roll Tide.com.

Since CNS is calling all the shots, I wasn't sure if any changes have been made concerning Fan Day.
