Davin Palmer...?

Is David Palmer's son, Davin, being recruited by Alabama any?? Im pretty sure i read in a thread awhile ago that he is actually too old to play HS football in the state of Alabama this year, so i guess that might be the reason there isnt much of any info on his Rivals page. Is the staff even after this guy...because if he is anything like The Duece, then we need him to be T-town Bound.

I believe that he's transferred to Hoover HS and will play this fall. I could be wrong though.

This is the first I have heard about Palmer transferring to Hoover but I had also heard he was too old to play his senior season. I had heard that he may go to prep school. I don't know his current status but I do have him listed in my list as an Alabama prospect He is a very talented athlete.
 
Hmmm ... we're starting a homeschool high school football team this year in the Birmingham/Moody area. Our conference allows you to play up to age 19 as long as you have not graduated.

Reckon Mr. Palmer has ever considered home education?

(I'm thinking mainly of Davin's academic future, of course, not the fact that he could get 300 rushing or receiving yards per game at our level without breaking a sweat ... and certainly not the fact that they could hand us the conference trophy our first year before we played a game. :biggrin2: )

Anywhere near what DP was, at this age/stage of his career?
 
From what I hear, I don't think he will be playing football for a while. If what I hear is correct, I don't think they have a football team there. I wish I could say more. Too bad. I saw him play several times last year and he is a talent to watch. He could break a long on on any given play.

That boy has some good genes and they aren't Levis. ;)

I thought I remembered hearing about him getting kicked off of the team at Chelsea towards the end of last year. May have been right before the playoffs started. At this point one just hopes he can get himself on the right track regardless of athletics.
 
What a waste of talent. Maybe he will get his life back in order and make something of himself.
