What're you trying to say?

I agree with you. I felt before the debate that the undecided (or the 13% that you call it) that will decide the election will probably not watch a debate and Obama will just walk away with this election. However, with Romney punking the President like he did, it might be hard for the undecided not to hear about this and tune in for Rounds #2 and #3. I think Romney sent a pretty strong message and the President was very unprepared for a guy that has had plenty of practice leading up to last night. He said all the right things that a middle class person wanted to hear, imo, and that's the backbone of that 13%.
The reason for the Obama performance?
Denver's altitude, says Al Gore.
"Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today  just a few hours before the debate started," Gore said on his network, Current. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know..."
What a bigoted, racist thing to say!![]()
Agree...and count me as one of those 13%...
SavannahDare; I give this one to Romney. Someone does not agree..:biggrin2: [IMG said:http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/oprah.gif[/IMG]
The reason she is shaking her head like this is because she is saying "No way am I voting for Him again". She's didn't get to be mega wealthy by being dumb. She is a smart lady and was fooled by the One.
No he doesn't. This isn't like last election where you actually had people on the fence. I really don't think there's as many "on the fence" that debates are going to make that much of a difference. People for the most part have made up their minds and will vote accordingly come November. Get ready for Fo Mo years.

That percentage is going to be the target for both candidates. As Romney so eloquently put it, Obama is going to get that 40 something percent regardless of how well he ripped him in a debate. Romney needs to hammer on how much better his plan is across the board for the middle class backed up with solid facts and then call Obama out when he tries to push something Romney believes is false. He did that quite often last night, but you can bet, the gloves will come off in the next debate.
I really didn't know what to expect out of Romney last night but I came away very impressed with how he handled himself. I think he truly believes what he was saying and can back it up.
I liked Sarah Palins comments afterwards on Foxnews. She pretty much summed it up how the media coddles Barack and when pressed without a teleprompter he is horrible.
Before the next debate I bet the Dems find a way to get the questions before show time. How do the questions get secured before hand anyway?
I think you're right. If I am to believe CNN, this election will basically come down to Ohio and Florida. Without Ohio, Romney has no chance to win and without Florida as well, it's going to be extremely tough.
I don't see either of those states going for Romney in this election. Stranger things have happened, though.
BO takes Ohio
MR takes Fl
No doubt BO takes OH, with a million free phones floating around.
Who takes PA, MI, WI?
Listened to the Medicare and general health care portions of the debate on the radio. A voucher system for Medicare would be a complete and utter disaster - regardless, such a bill would never pass and Romney and the GOP are fully aware of this.
Nothing but platitudes and otherwise vague assertions from Romney in the general healthcare discussion. In the process, he eliminated any doubts that may have existed that the GOP would actually attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act. He's fully aware of the political game around this.
Based on Medicare and the Affordable Care Act, which are the worlds I know, I cannot see how anybody under 55 years old would support the GOP candidate.
