Decline of the DNC V

Would be hilarious if she primaries Schumer, beats him, and then loses to a moderate Republican in the general.

AOC: “It is time for the North to roll up to the South.”

What?

What is this nitwit suggesting?
Trump and Republicans are robbing this country of its freedoms, wealth, and reputation abroad. Its sad that Democrats cant have a serious response to appealing to all voters. They are not a serious party right now and have not been for a long time.

Both parties understand their respective roles in the kayfabe. It's important to understand that's all it is and it has been that way for a long time now. As long as we are buying into the narrative, we won't notice they are looting the treasury, stacking the deck for their friends and donors and essentially doing away with the middle class.

It seems - more often than not - the parties cannot help but nominate kooks that either lose or at the very least take money away from other "swing district" races.

Everybody get your popcorn ready to watch the unraveling of the most insane "let's pretend we agree" caucus in the Democratic Party:

Woke Candidate.jpg

"Q for Palestine" has always been a basically "the NAACP for the David Duke/George Wallace 1962" ticket, but nobody has ever called them out (this is what happens when your media has spent 40 years programming itself with "okay, how can we spin this in favor of our buddies"?)

She's Muslim herself.
And she came right out and said, "Hey look, I'm all for you rainbow people BUT as 31% of the vote in my district is international (mostly from the Middle East, hint hint), I have a better chance of getting elected ticking off the rainbow people than the ones who kill the rainbow people in less civilized societies."

But don't worry.
She hates Israel enough she's likely to be the 2036 party nominee after AOC's career ends in a plagiarism scandal.

(The hilarity is not in the truth, it's the fact she was stupid enough to say the truth).

I believe if we are to return back to our political sanity that we need to appeal to the Republican in Connecticut and the Democrat in Alabama...

The far left are "useful Idiots" to the radical segment of the Muslim population. The average practicing Muslim and the average left of center person have very little in common when it comes to any social issues. This marriage of the minds can't coexist long term. They will fight each other.

Go check out the city in Michigan that elected an all Muslim city government and then banned Pride flags. The LGBT folks got mad because they supported the Muslims and then they threw them out the door. It was comical.

My Oregon bud arrived back home from England last night and one thing on the text we were discussing was how both our home states would be better if at least AT THE STATE level the two political parties were competitive. Oregon has a rematch of their 2022 race for governor, and while he’s sort of an old line libertarian, he voted for the Republican last time and will this time, too (she only lost by 3 points as a pro-life Christian conservative in OREGON. As she also pointed out, Oregon codified abortion decades ago and while she personally disagrees with it, she accepts the state constitution and the will of the people).

Crime is the issue. He has watched Eugene degenerate even on his own street where you never would have seen it just five years ago. And while heavily libertarian, he has NO problem with heavy punishment (before anyone calls his form of law and order racist, go look at the population of Oregon, it’s diverse but only 2% black, and much of the crime is whites people).

But the larger point is that when you live in a one-party state as most people do it most times, the party that always inherit power doesn’t have to do anything to stay in power.

No.

Both groups despise Christianity to the depths of their souls, and that loathing binds them temporarily.

But maybe listen to some atheists like Hitchens and Maher pointing out there’s a huge difference in how the religions (especially in religious dominant countries) treat LGBTQ. Hint: it has been a long time since someone was dropped in boiling oil in the US for that reason.

This is reminding me of what I’ve always said: “I would love to learn that what has caused climate change has something to do with abortions just to see which issue is more important to the most people.” Actually, I already know: screw the future, I need to screw today.

Let’s just say, Israel is a whole lot more tolerant of LGBTQ than virtually all of the countries who hate Israel. And all of the politicians that hate Israel as well.

By the way, could one of our nice liberal posters here explained to the rest of us what the appeal of AOC is beyond “she will make right wingers lose their minds!”

Anyone?

Nobody Ever:
Man, that four-term House member from a safe district should run for President.

Democrats:
Geraldine Ferraro would make a great running mate after 3 terms. AOC in the same district should be Dictatorial Queen of the World.

But Joe Crowley, who held that same seat for 20 years* never once had his name mentioned as President. Neither did Thomas Manton in his 14 years.

* - Crowley’s district did change but yes, it is the same seat Ferraro held.

I've said this on some other posts: The first party to sanity wins and both are headed for the nut house. I don't see the Dems pulling out of this run to the far left. The primary voter base is going to continue pushing them further and further out there.

AOC got the nod from Hasan Piker. He recently dressed up like Mao and sang his praises. That's what I'm looking for.

I will be interested to see what the Republicans look like after Trump. We will begin to know in 2027. I'm personally out on Vance. I would like to see a governor or maybe Rubio get the nomination. I would lean governor. Youngkin or DeSantis come to mind for me. Maybe there is someone else, but a move away from Trumpian politics would be refreshing. DeSantis tolerates Trump because of politics and I'm certain Youngkin has no use for him. I'm hopeful the base for the Republicans can return to something a little more normal. It may be wishful thinking.
