She’s a center-left Democrat who overreached during COVID and was overruled by the Michigan Supreme Court. She’s been reelected since then, so she must be popular with a lot of people.

He did it because the state government of New York gave him 8 billion dollars. The state is bailing the city out. Now let's be honest he didn't cause this problem. It was caused by previous administrations, but don't act like he magically figured it out because he is so awesome. Hochul and the state legislature bailed him out. The fix isn't permanent. It's just a stop gap.

Yeah, Mamdani is doing a victory lap but he's really just an excellent example of the modern Marist. Privileged and entitled. Never had to obtain any particular sill or work a real job. A failed rapper turned politician. Always living off mommy's money. Now that he runs NYC, he turns to his other mommy (Hochul) to bail him out. A loser. Such are the Marxists. I hope he has great success though. Keep driving the most talented New Yorkers to states that appreciate them.

To start with Trump lost the election in 2020. I thought the whole thing was crazy. Just go home and then run again. If you want to contest something in court then go for it. That is your right.

This little clip is a great example that it's all about power and maintaining it so you can enrich yourself, your cronies, and waste other people's money so you can attempt to buy votes. Any politician yelling about democracy is only doing it out of convenience. It's all about control and power. Our leaders do not serve us or have our best interests at heart. They are scavengers.

Not with the tiny turnouts primaries draw. LA drew almost 54% of registered Republicans, far better than AL's 20%. I can guarantee that the 43% the primary leader drew was almost 100% of Trumpers. If it's allowed by state law, Cassidy should re-register as an independent candidate...

Oh hell, you can look at her and tell, "I'm a good lookin' gal, the rules don't apply to me, and I'm the queen on the throne."

All of that, of course, is irrelevant to how good a candidate she'd be, and I honestly don't know because running for President is an entirely different animal. Sarah Palin was a good lookin' gal, too, and she was in so far over her head, she was drowning in quicksand.

Well, yes and no.

Sometimes you win because of who your opponent is (I know you know this, sorry if this sounds snide, I don't mean it that way).

And she ran against a right-wing commentator who pledged fealty to Donald Trump, so much so she said he carried Michigan in 2020. Remember, Trump only beat Harris by about 1.4 points, so it's not like Whitmer is some diamond in the rough carrying a red state. (That's not to say she wouldn't be a good candidate - Obama loves her).

Well that and Michigan being full of misogynists who won't vote for a woman, which is why Kamala lost.
