Delusional UT fan

If you continue to get personal foul calls for late hitting the qb and for extra-curriculars after the whistle, then yes, they're going to keep a closer eye on you.

Tennessee does play dirty. I was so glad to see Bama pull away in the 2nd half. I am happy for our defense, they shutout the Vols in the 2nd half. Nice job guys. I am looking foward to seeing Bama play in person on the 3rd. :PDT_popc:

At one critical juncture, they got a 33 second play clock. As I said earlier they're just hopeless as a fan base right now. They and fulmer are in bed together and I hope they snuggle up for a long time...

Earle...I too was at the game. I had a ball! I had so much fun. At times I wanted to pinch myself...I just knew I would wake up any minute and it would all be a dream. Yesterday was a day I will always remember as the day Bama served notice that we are going to get better and better and other teams need to get ready for a much improved Bama from here on....no more meek and mild Bama that folds when the pressure is on.

Things are just getting back to normal -- the way they ought to be.

When you see members of the Vol nation and they act like those cited in this thread, just smile and act like you've been there before. If you don't remember Bama's domination of TN from years gone by, just fake it. There is nothing that eats 'em up more than a Bama fan that wins and acts like that is the way it is supposed to be without saying anything about it.

Before the game several UT office people wanted to bet three Bama people that whoever won would have to take the other three to dinner and wear the winner's team colors. I sent and email back that said, "Bring it on Smokey!!! You're going down!!!"

From watching in the stadium, it's ridiculous. They hit our guys five yards OOB three times, without a flag. We hit their guy with both his feet in bounds - we get flagged. They held our receivers play after play and got away with it. One play, our WR made a dive with their guy driving him into the turf and the UT fans were screaming "uncatchable." They held on the OL almost every play. They hit late, trying to take out Wilson almost every play (without any luck), and only got called twice. They're scum and I'd like to quit playing them...

And Zeke got knocked out of the game due to a leg whip .... right in front of the ref .... no call.

Bull!!

Someone used to post a picture of ut's touchdown run back in 98 with everyone on the team holding! Andrew Zow getting hit late in 99 and it was never called. ut penalties yesterday were thrown on a classless bunch of players. That's why phil was so mad. He knew it. ut couldn't handle getting there lunch handed to them.

The penalties didn't give Bama a 24 point win. It helped, but ut deserved every personal foul the was called!!!

If someone has that picture of 98. The no call on holding. Please post it. I haven't seen it in a while.

Roll Tide all!!

I agree that it is pathetic to always start making excuses for losing a game. Now that most of us see how ridiculous it is, I hope we remember that the next time we lose a game. Let's learn to just give credit to the other team and get ready for the next game. There is almost a daily reference on here about some blown call that may have cost us a game, so let's learn from the UT idiots and not repeat their mistakes. Roll Tide, 41-17!

Ha!

Bama may not loose again this year! Last year I dreaded November. This year Bama could actually do it. Chavis has a good defense at ut and Bama could have scored 50 if Coach Saban didn't call off the dogs in the 4th quarter. Bama held ut to their lowest score of the year. Can you believe it? I never thought Bama would stop ut's run game last week, but that's what this coaching staff can do. Get the best out of every player!

Rooooolll Tide!!!

Yep, when the commentators say "the refs missed that one", it tells you something. Same thing when they think the personal foul at the end of the first half is bogus.

I didn't hear the LFS guys saying questioning any missed/bad calls against Bama...

Here here Earl. UT has done nothing to prove they deserve to set foot on the playing field with a program the caliber of ours. With detective Foolmer at the root of the NCAA investigation, they gave us their best "kill shot" and failed. What did not kill us has made us stronger. I doubt UT will ever win more than a single game every 5-10 years against us now.....unless they decide to hire a good coach.

Roll Tide Roll!!!!! Yesterday was a long time coming, and will feel good for a long time to come. Just the tip of the iceberg, my friends.

The late hit call at the end of the first half almost put UT right back in the game. Talk about bad officiating. That's the problem with people today though. It is always somebody else's fault. No one ever wants to take responsibility for anything. It's a sad commentary on society as a whole, IMO.

My only question is since when did a reverse that gets dropped on the grass become a incomplete pass. kinda fishy hmmm.

No need to fear guys detective Stay Puff marshmallow man is on the case.

since he fliped it, its considered a "pass" if he had handed it off it would have been considered a fumble. But what about if your running the option, if you flip it back to the runner, isnt it considered a fumble if he misses it?

An option is usually a "backward" pass--which is considered a fumble. What we saw yesterday was a "forward" pass.

Okay, I've seen fans blame refs before, but check out this quote from gridscape.com:
"I have been to over 200 UT games and many other college and pro games in my lifetime. For the first time in my life today, I am convinced that I watched a "fixed" game. The Bama Boosters were definitely lining the ref's pockets today. If anyone does not believe this, just go back and watch the tape. Its pretty obvious. If the obvious four blown calls are not enough evidence, just look at the whole thing with the play clock. This is another example of Bama's cheating and win at all cost attitude that will ultimately land them on probation once again." (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=7&f=1372#s=7&f=1372&t=1260067)

I guess UT really won today. I mean, they played so WELL!!! And UT has NEVER been desperate to beat Bama (reference the "secret witness").

This is beyond pitiful. I would be embarrased if a Bama fan had posted this!!!!

There were a couple of UT fans that I've talked to that mentioned the refs very first thing, and I basically told them to get over it...I've said it on here when ya'll have complained about the refs, and I tell UT fans the same thing that refs don't lose games, players and coaches lose games, and we just got it handed to us yesterday...There were some bad calls, but they went both ways, as they always do...

On a lighter note, I had a Bama fan sitting in front of me, and we had been talking the whole game...Very nice dude...After that PI was called against us in the endzone on that 3rd down, he turned around, smiled, and said, "that's why we have the Bryant Bank here in town" I asked him if he could use some of that money to put escalators up to the top row of that new section...I was tired after that hike LOL

I had to post a rebuttle on their site to the idiot who said he was in the stadium and the play clock worked for us but not them. I was there and I have it on tape and it never worked in the 2nd half after the first series. It just so happened that we had the ball. However, what I also brought up in my post was this...why bring it up. There was 1 call all day for delay of game so even if it were true it was a non issue. Just another lame excuse for someone looking...no searching for a clue.
