Question: Did Alabama adjust Kentucky out of their shifts and motions or did UK outthink themselves?

Several times during the game the announcers alluded to Kentucky "going away" from the things that were successful i.e. all the motioning that seemed to give the D fits in the early going. CNS mentioned in the post game presser the D adjusted well but it did seem to my untrained eye that UK kinda stopped doing all that stuff. Do ya'll think it was because of the looks the D was giving (not falling for it) or UK trying to out adjust the defense?

For the oldtimers, an obvious case of clairvoyance with Golding channeling Jeanne Dixon in his celebrated pregame interview. Here’s hoping he’s honing his clairvoyance this week for what lies ahead.

No, they kept trying it until they changed QBs, but Alabama had effectively stopped it and they were trailing by so much that they had to try passing to catch up. Had they left Wilson in the game they would have had more success over the course of the game, but only if they only wanted to score 6-10 more points trailing by 25.

So, Alabama forced UK to try something different by both stopping their run game and by scoring so effectively.

I think that by our offense doing this it puts a lot of stress on the other team's offense. They feel like they need to score every time they get the ball so it kind of takes them out of what they really want to do. Kind of like when we realized against Clemson a couple of years ago that we REALLY had no kicking game so we had to score TD's instead of settle for a FG try.

This ^^^^. The threat of our offense scoring on every series is a real stressor for the other team's OC. They run the risk of getting impatient, beginning to panic and out think themselves.
