I'm sorry Rammer Jammer cheers are for the times that we beat the opponent and dominate them. Not win by the skin on our teeth.

Not trying to be a trouble-maker: define dominate. Who's going to determine within 20 seconds or so of the final horn whether we dominated them or not? I say if we have one more point than them, fire up the band. Just my two cents' worth.
I agree. I love hearing it no matter how many points we won by. It's a tradition:wink:
So because auburn out gained us 143-37 in the 1st quarter that means we didn't dominate!!!! For only the next 3 quarters we took them behind the shed and whooped them 254-189 and 76 of that came on one play. In the 4th we took the ball 79 yards and ate up 7 minutes of the clock but, hey we didn't dominate. We were so lucky to be in the game with a team like them to begin with. ROLL TIDE and bring on the Gators.
You come from 14 down and drive almost the length of the field with the time running out and the game on the line in your biggest rival's stadium to win the game ---- oh yeah, you deserve to scream 'Rammer Jammer' till the cows come home (pun intended).

those are the kinds of fans that make me sick. The deck was stacked against us. Forget the fact that we had 3 days of preparation to their 2 weeks, did you not notice aside from a busted coverage and a lucky offsides on their part, and one decent drive by them... we totally dominated. They threw everything they had, we overcame in dramatic fashion. that always deserves a healthy rammer jammer
You're gonna take your lumps here for this opinion. If you're so "embarrassed" that your team dominated Auburn by overcoming a 14-0 score in the 1st quarter, then dotted the "i" in "dominate" by orchestrating a 70+ yard, 7+ min drive in the 4th quarter, and then keeping Auburn out of field goal range by your best defensive player laying a huge sack on the Auburn QB, well then I just don't know what to say to you.
Obviously you don't understand the finer points of overcoming adversity and holding your opponent to 7 points through 3 quarters of play while your team amasses 26 points.
I don't care if we win by 1....a WIN is a WIN.......The school down the road deserves to hear Rammer Jammer more than just two times for all the grief they put us through during our down years with Tupperwear and his fingers! I'm glad we are feeling a true VICTORY, instead of having a "moral victory"; however, the scoreboard says Bama WON!

I could see your point if it were some small school that we beat by a field goal, but this is Awbarn we're talking about. I say scream Rammer Jammer if we beat them by 1 or 100.
