Indeed. This could've been a much worse weather situation. I got out and cleaned off our walk and steps, and those of my elderly neighbors. Otherwise, I've not done much, just enjoyed the pretty scenery.
Yup..Our State is simply not equipped for any snow..

Ten snow flakes landing on our power lines at the same time is enough too take out our power it seems like..Kinda not kidding..😁😁

At this point I have not seen grass in ten 10 days or so. We had 2 rounds of winter storms and currently have 5-6 inches of snow. Hasn’t been above freezing in a week and a half. Saw pictures of BDS in snow. My wife and I agreed that we can’t even fathom what snow looks like in T-town. Coldest it has been for us at a game was like 45 or 50. That was in November. I got sunburned this November when we were in town for a game… unbelievable.

Could have done without the prior weekend and the snow event. Spent 2 days in Marshall Medical - North with the flu, got out on Wednesday just to be snowed in starting Friday. Add 4 grandkids staying with us and you can call it enough for me. No one has been injured so there is that aspect I'm thankful for. 😄😄😄

What part of the Upstate do you live in? I lived in Seneca from 1990 to Spring of 2002.
LOL i live about 8 minutes from Seneca, Little town called Walhalla. Go to work in Seneca every day.
Its a nice area, alot lest bustle and people compared to where i last lived in Kings Mountain. Traffic in Gastonia has gotten horrible.

I know Walhalla well...The Walhalla Steak House was a go to on Sunday lunch. Yes, a wonderful place to live with much less hassle than the big city.

I went out on my balcony and looked. Came back in to my warm recliner and hot coffee. I haven't been back out since. My kids and grandkids enjoyed it. I think we got 5" to 7", depending on location. It varied, from what I saw on Facebook.

A beautiful snow up here in the mountains in western NC!

Towns up here have good snow removal equipment so we were able to get out and see App. St. and James Madison on Sat.

It's been so cold we've had very little natural melt.

I'm in Mobile, I haven't seen snow since 2017. I do remember an ice storm when my kids were little, some time around 2014 maybe, I can't remember exactly.

Before that, it was the 90s when it snowed down here. So we should be due for snow again some time in 2038.
