Xfinity is garbage, but living in an apartment have no other choice. My modem crapped out again for the third time. The second in 2 years. I found out yesterday that I had a 3rd Gen device. They are on 8 Gen. So for those keeping count, 2 years ago they replaced my busted modem with an old out of date modem. There was 12 people in line with the exact same problem. I went in person because they could not get anyone out to my place until Saturday between 2 and 5.

Have you thought about T-Mobile? You get 2 weeks to try it and with auto pay you are locked in for life at 50 dollars, 40 if you have their phone plan.

You can buy a MODEM for yourself and bypass the monthly charge. I've owned mine for years.

I have a friend who works in Miami. He has an electric heater in his office. He uses it during the Summer.
This drives me bananas. Used to work in a place and a lot of ladies had space heaters under their desks. So they were effectively fighting the A/C. I can’t imagine the power bill with the competing systems.

I LOATHE air fresheners in public spaces. You may like them in your home but don’t put them in offices.

I get headaches from strong perfumy scents. I’m sure there are others like me.
My current situation is in a Dr office waiting room waiting on my Dad. They have this place so perfumed I know I’m going to have a massive headache later. I can feel it coming on now starting right between my eyes.

You must have met my brother-in-law...
I think everyone knows someone like this. Unfortunately they are in abundance. Whether you work with them or are related in some way, they are there. Sometimes it takes a while to notice, the true sociopaths are really good at hiding it. I usually have a good radar for these types, but every now and then they can fool me. Not for too long though, they eventually reveal themselves for who and what they are.

People who leave their dogs outside to bark non-stop.
We went through a no-foolin' problem with that. It got to the point that I was investigating the process for how to file suit in small claims court. Fortunately, our HOA helped a lot. We had documentation -- a daily log that filled up two small legal pads, backed up with video evidence of multiple episodes, and text conversations with the owner. The HOA fined the owner $650 -- which was a 50% discount from the amount allowed.

It's still not perfect, but has reduced to an acceptable level....for now. I still cringe every time one of them does bark and am on constant guard against a relapse. I will NOT go back to where we were -- it was miserable and truly affected the enjoyment of our home.

Because of the problem (it went on for months), the HOA amended the bylaws to make it easier to fine, especially repeat offenders.

Pineapple on pizza should be an executable offense.
Related only because it's in the food and drink arena: White Zinfandel wine is an abomination against the Lord.

Those are the same guys who would scream "you da man" at golf tournaments.
Or, "It's in da hole," on a tee shot on a 600-yard par 5.
