We still had very good recruiting classes. I can't see us as having anything but excellent recruiting classes now. Especially after everyone seeing us field the best defense in the nation and who knows? We probably would have been undefeated if our offense would have remained healthy. Also I think every mom that meets Coach Mike Shula will try to encourage her son to come to play for The University of Alabama.

It seems all coaches can sweet talk a mom, either that or they just walk in hand em a wad of cash and ask for the committment. I'm sure that's how it works in Tennessee anyway.

I don't think CMS is the type to really be a sweet talker. More like looks her in the eyes when he talks to her and she sees that he means what he says and that he is a person of high character and is truly concerned about the welbeing of her son. On another note when tennersees ol phatty goes to visit a recruit he is probably looking to see how much supper she cooked before he offers the cash.
