Enough Already!!!!

We've been handling it, but we're not willing to ACCEPT it.

You see, we're not accustomed to struggling with Mississippi State to avoid the cellar of the SECW. No real BAMA fan is okay with that.

You got that right.

I can accept losses to Ark., Florida, Tennessee, and soon to be LSU and Auburn, though it does hurt.

I may NEVER get over that humiliating Dubosian loss.

Well, the other issue is that I don't believe any decisions will be made by Mal Moore or Robert Witt based on what they read at TideFans. Maybe both Witt and Moore are registered members, but I think they get their info elsewhere....

Exactly. Who are we complaining to? We already know what will be said. We know what we're complaining about.

Is it too much to ask, Earle, bayoutider, TerryP, BamaNation, just to have an official complaint thread? It would be easier for a lot of folks here. Me anyway. I'm complaining right now, but not about Alabama football. Which seems to be the one thing members do want to do.

Just one thread for the Bama fans to get their woes out in the open, and the burden off their poor, tired shoulders. It would save a lot of board room. I know you guys must be tired of moving threads.

O.K. apparently it is still a tender subject.
Let me try to make myself a little clearer.
Do I think We have a team that is in a shambles? Yep, Darby between the tackles is no longer a surprise for our competition.
Did I have to be restrianed from kicking in my big screen TV this weekend? Yep, and I wasn't even drinking.
But when I said We are bigger than this WE ARE. I do believe changes will be made. I do believe if the current Coaches and assistants can't do it the University will make those changes.
I am still ****ed too but I don't see any good coming out of acting like Tamu fans after Oklahoma hung 77 on them.
Hey at least it wasn't Northern Illinois.
Ya'll need a hug?

It's not a tender subject, it's an over-used subject. I give up.

Actually there is a sticky for complaints, post game. And that was our intention, to use that one thread. However, it would take about 20 people, 24/7 to enforce that, so we're just doing what we can...

224 TOTAL yards to FIU?
No offensive TDs versus one of the worst teams in football and one that hadn't won on the road in three years?

I can't believe we're not all celebrating. When they stop paying those coaches millions, and asking us to fork in ... I'll stop being critical.

Hey, BAMMAR...

At least Oklahoma was a top ten team.

Mull it over for a minute again...

We lost...

...at home...

to MSU.

Who replaced freaking VANDY and Kentucky...

at the bottom of the SEC.

At least you're in Georgia.

Try being in freaking Mississippi this morning...:mad2:

Ya'll sound like the whinnest bunch of little bi*****. We Lost. Get over it. We lost to a crappy Missy Stake team. Yeah we did. But we have got to keep our heads up. Our players and prospects read these boards and ya'll sound like we are suppose to win the National championship this year and Dubose is still the coach.
So it looks like we are gonna end up 6-6 O.K. That's what is probably gonna happen but the Whinning ang moaning make you sound like a bunch of little woosies.
WE ARE ALABAMA. Show some pride and cajones.
I AM STILL PROUD TO BE AN ALABAMA FAN!
If you can't handle a bad year maybe you aren't.

Thank you!!! I know we lost to Miss. State but some of you guys act like you dont have lives and just keep posting the same things over and over and gets a little old.

Now that's FUNNY !I needed cheering up today.:)
Dear Coach Shula,

Tidefans's members are a rather unusual group. Most of us are well educated and well informed people. We work hard during the week just to be able to afford to come to another Alabama Crimson Tide football game. We realized at the beginning of this year that this year was going to be a little bit tough with the youth we see in most positions this year. What we did not understand at the beginning of the season was that we'd lose in OT to Arkansas, we struggle against Vanderbilt and Duke...and lose to Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa.

Coach Shula we're tired of hearing your excuses and you making it sound like it's ok to be just mediocre. It's not ok. This is THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, WE WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HERE. This is not Auburn and this is not The Tampa Bay Bucaneers...losing is not accepted nor an option.

And in conclusion Coach Shula, we must ask that you keep yourself off of these forums. There are alot of ****ed off fans here that would like nothing better to throw your noncoaching @$$ off a bridge.

Remember COACH, this is for your own good.

Signed,
An Alabama Fan

p.s. Got Twelve? WE DO...but you don't

I will readily admit, though I didn't simply pump sunshine when we started losing this year, that I did see trouble ahead. But I tried to keep upbeat and optimistic. I really did believe we'd perform better.

The gloves are off now.

No disrespect at all, but you guys realize you are in the STRONG minority now, right? Everyone, statewide who gives a fig about Alabama football is beyond upset about what happened on Saturday, and they should be.

Just the fact that the admins/mods here are as upset as they are ought to really tell you something. It sure does me.

You said you're 21. I'm 31. My dad's 55 or so. Others on this board have piped in saying they've been watching us play for 50+ years, and they're disgusted with what went on this past weekend.

Call us whiny, come after us for "saying the same thing over and over" or "having no life" or whatever you want to. We care about this football program. And if you think for one minute we're not going to say what WE think needs to be done, you got another thing coming.

We'll say it over and over and over again until we get satisfaction.

That's what being a fan is all about. Not ignoring the problems and "hoping for the best" or that "things will improve." We've already got a HC doing the exact same thing. And see where it's gotten us? :BigA:

Dont get me wrong im pi$$ed too just like everyone else. The thing im saying is that im ready to put this behind me im tired of talking about this subject of MSU im ready to see changes just like everyone else. Some of you guys whine as if your complaints are being heard we should just wait and see what happens if nothing happens then heck yea we should be whining and complaining. I just hope Shula doesnt think everything will be corrected with the staff he has in place.

Tidefans.com is not atypical of what other fans and supporters are feeling right now, and yes, we all have lives. Unfortunately 8 hours of mine was wasted on Saturday traveling back and forth and sitting in the stadium. And a majority of my weekly "life" in part helps me to pay for my sickness that is Alabama football.

If you're so ready to put it behind you, then why bother reading our gripes .. and responding??

I'm sure there are a good number of big-time donors who are already echoing our sentiments. Plus, if you don't believe the fans' disdain isn't heard by administration, and once the tickets go unsold and the seats remain empty, just take a look at very recent examples like Michigan State, Notre Dame, Florida, and Nebraska, among others.

First off, I don't see it as "whining." That implies complaining just for complaining's sake, because something isn't quite the way you want it to be. This is so far from being anywhere near where we want it to be, it's borderline ludicrous.

As for the complaints, why are we not being heard? What gives you that impression? With the students AND players on this board, and all the posters tied into the football program...you really think we're not being heard?

Justified grievances can do what they're meant to do. Word gets around and pressure comes to bear. I would have to believe that pressure of some sort is already bearing down in some shape or form on this football program. If not, we're in even worse shape than I think we are. In a way I see your point, no matter how many times we say it, it might not be possible to create any more pressure than there is at this point. Just wait two weeks for AU.

My point is really this. I don't know if it's an age thing, or just the world in which football is played now, but there was a time when certain things in Alabama football were simply unacceptable. Losing to AU was one of 'em, and we know where we're going with that one.

Losing to MSU, in Tuscaloosa, is completely unacceptable. There is no excuse that will justify a loss like that.

We're complaining, or whatever you wanna call it, because we're unhappy, and we have every right to be. There has to be some outlet for what's going on. You wanna see a real explosion, watch everyone keep their mouths shut and see what happens the next time something like this happens.

I don't think there was much of a chance at this staying in one thread, unless it was going to be dozens of pages long. There just isn't anything else going on with Alabama football right now that can compare to the state of the coaching staff. If it stayed in one thread, this board would be pretty much dead except for the one complaint thread.
