Jeffrey Epstein was an evil person. He wasn't stupid.

He intentionally cultivated relationships with high-profile members of both parties. Reason being that whatever party was in power, they had reason to keep information from the public eye. And the party out of power also had its own reasons not to poke that bear.

So far, Larry Summers (Democrat, former Secretary of the Treasury and former President of Harvard University) is the first to take a fall. I'll be really surprised if there aren't more from both parties. Also guessing there are a bunch of cinched up alimentary canals throughout Washington and other halls of power.

All true and anyone who didn't this coming a mile away needs to request a CAT scan to see if there is anything between their ears. This guy left his fingerprints everywhere and while I have no doubt that some people will be protected, others absolutely will not. Like I said in the Maxwell thread, there's a reason the feds sat on this for as long as they did.

Yes, the logical gymnastics that will suddenly be necessary to determine Person A (whom I like) didn't do all that bad but Person B (whom I loathe) did is going to be the next comedy.

The most interesting cases will be:
a) red officeholders by narrow margins in blue states
b) red officeholders who will be replaced by a blue governor if charged
c) blue officeholders by narrow margins in red states
d) blue officeholders who will be replaced by a red governor if charged

Amazingly, there aren't even that many of those now.

Georgia has a red governor and two blue senators.
So does Nevada (although since both are female, probably not much concern).
And New Hampshire (again - both senators are female)
So does Vermont (look out Bernie!)

Kansas has a blue governor and two red senators.
So does Kentucky.
And North Carolina
And Pennsylvania (I'm kidding, it's one each, but I'm counting Fetterman as red)

Wisconsin has a blue governor and one of each.
The red Senator is Ron Johnson.

So if I'm to believe this, they had to redact THE NAME but NOT the name at the top WITH THE EMAIL ADDRESS.

I'm pretty sure that most everyone here agrees. And even if someone escapes criminal investigation/indictment, there will always be civil litigation opportunities. In fact, I'm 99.9% sure that we will be seeing a LOT of this in 2026.
