If these guys don't come out the tunnel with a 'kill them all' laser focus....you might want to start fishing on Saturday!!!

Look, I'm not at their level, but the little bit of flag football I played (in my late 40s mind you), I hated losing and I was just vocal enough that bad play got a nasty response out of me at halftime...Most the guys on my team were active duty, fit, young marines. I had my hands full playing against those guys.

No matter how hurt I was, and I was hurt bad one season, broke a finger and burst a disc in my back...out two weeks and then playing again...laser focused on the field and played my assignment...Never a doubt you knew where my head was post kick-off...

We'll know pretty early how focused they are. Who knows how much anxiety they are letting hurt their focus. Just have to play smart and with passion. Have some fight in you to overcome adversity. I want to see it from this team as a whole.

You know many of us on this board wish just once we could have run out that tunnel on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in front of thousands of fans and faced down the bad guys. We got taste of it in high school but we didn't have the gifts these guys were given by the good Lord above. I've watched a lot of Bama teams both good and bad and some things are beyond your control. but the one thing you can control is your attitude. These guys look like they don't want to be there. I want to see them get fired up and play like it's important, like it matters, not timid, not scared. If this season is going to go down the toilet then by god let it be on fire as it circles the bowl.
