And in preparation for an award involving three players, there's a lengthy video involving two of them. I wonder if the other has any chance of winning it? I mean, I didn't really expect Mark to win anyways, but that was just silly.

lol Fowler just called Kelly out saying the Cincy AD confirmed the report of Kelly to ND when Kelly wouldn't confirm. Credibility issues anyone?

Well that sucked. I really though a Bama player or two would actually win one. I'm pretty surprised. Ah well, one more to be decided before the NC game.

If McCoy wins the Heisman, I may puke. Seriously.

Anyone but McCoy - PLEASE!!
I would like to know how the awards are determined tonight. Committee or percentage of media or former winners? I think the Heisman is a Mark/ Suh/ Gerhart battle from the numbers coming in from that heisman watch website.

Well, I have to agree. Someone took issue with me saying "that was crap." Maybe I should have said it was disappointing instead - it sincerely was.

I may be in the minority here but....

I don't have a problem with not racking up on individual awards (including the stiffarm one). Get NC #13. It will leave them hungry.

And I'm not taking anything away from their individual efforts.....I just happen to like Coach Bryant's old quote regarding national championships vs. individual awards. It's all about the team.

It is, but these awards are nice rewards for the effort our guys have given. Outside of the punter (which had 2 SEC players out of 3 anyway), the Big 12 dominated the award show. Suh deserved his awards; I love TC, but Suh was the most dominant DL in the nation and MVP of his team (off or def). TC deserved to be up there and be an All-American; but MI really deserved at least the Doak Walker. The Pac-10 is an offensive show every week, so numbers mean nothing out there.

It helps to win the heisman if you have a .50 cent name that exhibits power and kind of rolls off the tongue like..."Colt" McCoy.

Maybe if Ingram's first name was, say, "Magnum", or something like that, he would stand a better chance. That a way, the ESPN pundits would more likely drink his bathwater like they do guys from USC, Michigan, Ohio State, etc.

And yes, I honestly believe this.

Hmmmm....so much for Bama's good reputation...but for your information, Colt has about a 3.85 GPA and has been an Academic All American for the past two years and is a finalist for the award that is called the Academic Heisman.

Colt's just a good old boy from a town of less than a thousand. No one ever said he was slick Willy.
What about Bama's reputation?

By the way, I think it's excellent that anyone who plays any sport keeps a GPA that high. It's hard enough to do without playing a sport.

Colt seems like a really good guy. He kinda reminds me of Tebow, but don't know if he does all the mission work, etc. that Tebow does.

Bama's reputation is that their fans don't make personal attacks against kids. Also, if you think UF fans worship TT, VY is a god- period!
That would be an ignorant assumption. I haven't seen a fan base that didn't have a few people willing to use personal attacks. I don't know how good of an idea it is to take one person's comments and attribute to an entire group of people.

He does some, I remember a story about it before his Jr year
Also he saved a man from drowning in a lake at one point, he swam across the lake to get to him.
Media was too busy with a mouth full of tebow to notice though lol
Colt is a great guy, really proud to say he's a Longhorn regardless of the football field
